Experience with Horses
I previously working in a trekking/hunting yard which unfortunately closed down due to covid and since then I have taken a break working with horses but am eager to get back to them!
I used to lead out treks where I have worked with national and international clients. In this yard I also gained experience training and bringing on young horses to go hunting, showjumping, xc etc.
I have ridden a variety of horses from ish to id to cobs. I have been hunting with the Grallagh Harriers, the Galway Blazers, the North Galway’s and the Connaught Drag Hunt. I have experience bringing on young horses to hunt, showjump etc. I have showjumped up to 1m but would like to progress more in this area
Key Skills
Capable of all aspects of looking after equines- feeding, grooming, mucking out etc. Love a clean yard and a tidy tackroom!
Have been hunting, showjumping, xc and have experience bringing on young horses
I work well independently and as a team and I am willing to learn!
