Yard manager /Groom/Rider is required for family P2P, Hunting, and youngster’s yard. This is a position ideally suited to someone from a P2P/Hunt/Event background. We need someone experienced/capable Yard manager to oversee the yard with help from family and freelance Grooms.

• There are around 12 pointers, 4 hunters and the youngstock, (youngstock experience required).
• You should be a capable and confident rider up for riding out no more than 4 lots a day.
• The yard is done by lunchtime and like a lot of racing yards the yard then has quiet time and then back at 4.00 for evening stables.
• No clipping required
• You should be happy to be around the owner’s children/ other animals although no other real involvement in that side of things is required. A sunny cheerful disposition is essential.
• The Owners do all the feeding as that’s their time to go around and check all is well.
• Cottage available. You will pay for your own utilities, the employer pays council tax and oil for heating.
