A lovely family, based close to the Curragh (https://www.curragh.ie/) and only 30 minutes from Dublin, is now looking for someone to help run their busy family life for 4 afternoons per week and a regular Saturday morning.
This friendly employer has four children aged 8, 7, 6, and a 1-year-old baby, so life is busy! No housework is required. You must be a very child-friendly, fun, outgoing and mature person to help with both children and three home-kept ponies. Duties will include, but are not limited to: accompanying the children on rides, driving them to activities, running errands, helping at shows, (Mum or Dad usually go to all shows). Pony care and turnout, and generally assisting with tasks around a busy, friendly house and home yard are also part of the role. The job would suit someone practical. The Employer is very organised, so she knows a week ahead what she needs for the following week, which will help the postholder plan life (and other work if necessary) around the job.
This is a role that would suit someone studying online or who has other commitments in the mornings. There are lots of yards around, so other local work opportunities like grooming/riding out for local horse trainers should be easily acquired.
A full, clean driver’s licence is essential.
If you would like accommodation, it will be a shared house with one other. This is a three-bedroom house with two bathrooms and is 1km from the employer’s home and yard. No cost for this or bills to pay (electricity/heating/wifi).
Lots of local livery yards are available, so owning a horse is certainly doable.
