About the Role:

We are looking to recruit a compassionate and enthusiastic Veterinary Nursing Assistant to support our experienced veterinary surgeons and nursing team in all aspects of equine care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a busy, supportive environment with a strong focus on clinical excellence and animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting vets and nurses with routine and emergency procedures
• Assisting with Lameness work ups to include; trotting up, lunging and procedure preparation
• Providing daily care and handling of inpatients
• Carrying out general yard duties, including mucking out, feeding and grooming
• Preparing and maintaining equipment and clinical areas
• Supporting with administrative duties and client communication
• Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and infection control

About You:

• Experience in the equine industry
• Confident handling a variety of horses including stallions, foals, and youngstock
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and teamwork
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and positive attitude
• Previous experience in a veterinary environment is desirable but not essential
