Job Description

Foaling manager required to do foaling of mares at a small stud in Shropshire.

We foal around 50 mares a year in a brand new setup with cameras and alarms.

Accommodation next to the foaling unit provided.

March to August Is a busy time lots of mares and foals to deal with and general yard duties also.

6 days a week to include all yard duties and managing the foaling unit including scanning of mares and worming and trimming foals etc etc.

Experience necessary and must be keen and motivated.

Minimum Requirements

Must have experience in foaling and handling of mares and foals.

Must be confident to work as part of a team and on your own.

Must have a keen eye and be motivated to work and checking and treating mares and foals.

We have a very busy yard and stud and candidates must be prepared for busy days and be reliable.
