Due to expansion, we are seeking a professional, experienced full-time groom to join our high-end livery yard.
We pride ourselves on exceptional standards of horse care and client service. This role would suit someone who is organised, knowledgeable, and takes genuine pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full daily care of a range of high-quality competition and leisure horses
* Mucking out to a high standard
* Turning out and bringing in
* Feeding and watering
* Managing individual routine
* Tacking up, untacking for clients
* Grooming to a high standard
* Clipping, trimming, plaiting (desirable)
* Maintaining yard cleanliness and presentation
* Providing polite and professional interaction with clients
Some riding and exercising is available for the right candidate, but is not essential.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has proven grooming experience (essential)
* Is confident handling fit, competition horses
* Has excellent attention to detail
* Works efficiently and maintains high standards at all times
* Is reliable and professional in manner
* Enjoys being part of a close-knit team
