Job Description
We are looing for someone to join our team as a senior groom to assist with the daily running of a competition yard and sports horse stud and assist with the riding of young horses and ponies.
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivational person who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team. Your role will require you to maintain the high standards of the yard to ensure that tasks are carried out correctly and in a timely manner. You need to have a practical knowledge of stable management, horse health and need to be competent and reliable. You must be organised, tidy and work well under pressure. To apply you must have worked in the industry already and be proficient in all practical yard tasks.
Experience riding young horses is essential for this role nd their there would be some competition opportunities riding opportunities for a good rider, good ground working skills are also required.
For the right applicant there is a chance to bring your own horse and compete.
Further training is available for anyone wanting to expand their knowledge or qualifications.
