Job Description
We are looking for an advanced apprentice. Due to the nature of the yard this is only suitable for candidates 18+ with previous hands on experience and a knowledge of basic stable management.
This opportunity is perfect for someone who prefers a more hands on way of gaining a qualification rather than the college route and a chance to gain the experience and skills employers want to succeed in the industry and earn whilst you train.
Applicants can choose from Breeding or riding pathways, however whichever pathway you choose you will be involved in all aspects of the yard from foaling mares to backing and show preparation and everything else in between. Our set up means that you will gain experience and skills in numerous aspects of the industry. We have over 20 years experience training apprentices and this is an  excellent chance to get on the career ladder with good prospects within the business for progression which can lead to a permanent position on qualifying for the correct candidate.
A good level of riding is preferred for this position as there will be riding opportunities for applicants with a suitable level of riding
Training on such a large diverse yard means that no two days are the same and gives you the experience and skills employers want.
There is onsite accommodation and own horse is welcome.
The apprenticeship comes with a package of industry qualifications, our apprentices are registered through Haddon Training
Minimum Requirements
18+ with prior equine experience and a confident riding ability.
