Experience with Horses
I started riding when I was 8 and have worked with horses ever since.
I have worked at several riding schools, assisting in lessons pony camps and general horse care. I enjoy working with children and teaching them important skills.
After school I went to the RAU to study applied equine science and business, where I have gained many skills relating to the equine industry. My studies covered a wide range including; anatomy and physiology, bio veterinary science, equine business management, nutrition and many more.
I have completed my BHS stage 1 and 2 care and lunge. I would be interested in progressing my education by getting my BHS teaching, as well as paddock management qualifications, and my HGV.
I have a keen interest in eventing, and enjoy working with all types of horses. I have found that natural horsemanship and ground work has helped develop a clear communication channel with horses. I have gone to several clinics and demos to further aid my horsemanship. I have regular lessons to improve my riding constantly.
