Experience with Horses
We are actively seeking a country/rural couple job back in the UK ,as we wish to return.
We have been living and working together since 2017, both of us have rural backgrounds, i have ridden allmy life ,starting at a very age with a shetland pony and gradually progressing through poniesand horses,competing at county level shows and higher in working pony and then working hunters, this was not my occupation it was a hobby fitted in around working on a farm.Also hunting ,showjumping ,some dressage, at low level, hunter trials.
As you will see my partner Kevin has years of experience with game birds/gamekeeping/hunting and now groundcare and property maintenance.
Whilst we are currently self employed in France as housekeeper /groundsman/property maintenance.
Key Skills
Happy to work alone using common sense or in a small team.
Turning horses out to a high standard.
Strengths and Weaknesses
They are beautiful sensitive animals and i use to get a lot of pleasure in bringing on a young horse to a high standard,in their way of going,by schooling.
Attention to detail,common sense.
Because we are a rural/country couple who would be well suited to all aspects of the job description.
