Experience with Horses
I have been riding and working with horses for around 7 years. I wanted to continue growing my knowledge and experience around horses so I Attended CAFRE Equine College where I gained my Level 3 Extended diploma in Equine Management as well as the Level 1 BHS Care and Ride. At the end of the first year of collage I worked at a Showjumping yard for 4 weeks work experience and continued at this yard for the rest of the summer as well as the start of the 2023 showjumping season.
Key Skills
I enjoy working along side other people and would prefer this in any incoming employment but have previously worked alone on a small yard along side the rider.
I have experience planting and bathing while at collage and previous to collage. This summer i have been working with 4/5/6 year olds, Holding, tacking up and walking off in hand at shows.
i would love to improve and learn about professionally turning out to a high level for shows as well as improving plaiting up.
Strengths and Weaknesses
I love the reward that can be gained from working with horses and really seeing improvement with them, weather that be physically, behaviourally or performance wise. One good day with horses can make you forget about any bad thats been.
