I have a broad range of hands-on experience working with horses in both professional yard and clinical settings. I have worked as a groom on a dressage and eventing yard, where I carried out all daily horse care to a high standard, including mucking out, grooming, clipping, feeding, and exercising, as well as preparing horses and lorries for competitions. I am confident managing tailored feeding routines and medication requirements, and I always maintain a clean, organised yard environment. Alongside this, my role at an equine clinic strengthened my communication and organisational skills, where I handled client enquiries and supported the smooth day-to-day running of a busy practice. I have also worked on a livery and hunting yard and run a small freelance business offering services such as clipping, riding, and lunging, demonstrating my initiative, reliability, and commitment to horse welfare.
