Experience with Horses
I will be honest and say that I don’t have a lot of experience within the industry, but I am a hard worker and I’m willing to learn anything there is to know.
Im nineteen years old, I have ridden horses before but not a lot, it is something that I’ve always had a liking to. I know that may make me not that appealing to hire but the way I see it is you’ve got to start somewhere, even if I am a little late to the party. I know that working with horses is a job that takes a lot of time and energy. I am willing to work as hard as possible if given the chance to do so.
I am able to work alone or as part of a team, I love meeting & working with new people, it’s what makes any job enjoyable.
I know I won’t know how to absolutely everything but if I am given the chance to find my bearings and get into the swing of things then I will excel.I am always up for a challenge & I know that working with horses that at times the job can be challenging, this is something that I love, figuring things out & learning new ways to handle the challenges that may arise along the way.
Requirements
I honestly don’t have a lot of requirements that need to be met, just an employer who is willing to be patient with me and give me the ability to learn from everyone, coworkers, customers (if there is any), themselves, myself and of course the horses.
I can live in or out, honestly whatever suits everyone involved.
I am currently living in Roscommon full time and am willing to travel for the job but within reasonable distance.
( I have said that I have had no previous employment within the equine industry, I worked on a family yard every summer for three years just helping out with basic chores and exercising the horses but that was many years ago)
