Experience with Horses
I am a beginner horse rider. I can walk to trott.
Key Skills
I applied for an equine access course to allow me to go to university to study sports equine but the college did not have enough people to start the course so they allowed me to join a animal management course with the understanding that they would add some equine into it. This never happened so I left and decided to pursue my equine interest a different way.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• I enjoy the sport within equine. I have a particular interest in eventing.
• I need to start from the basics and work my way up. I would like to learn about the different breeds that is best for eventing and the specific training needed for dressage, show jumping and cross country.
• I feel that employers would benefit from me as I have limited knowledge within eventing this would make it ideal to pass on their knowledge in order for the techniques that they use that make them unique to be passed onto other people so the success rate is continued.
Requirements
• I would like to gain excellent knowledge and understanding within equine.
• I do not mind if I live in or out but I do have a son who is 17 who would live with me.
• I do not have any pets.
• I have no commitments at the moment.
• I have no holidays booked at present.
