Experience with Horses
Worked for a variety of different yards, mainly riding schools and livery yards, as a full time member of staff and freelance. More recently I spent some time working for a start up yard in France that specialised in pre-training, rehabilitation, show jumping and breeding. Here I handled stallions, helped with the breaking in process, management and care of broodmares and young stock and swimming of horses amongst other duties.

Assisting in their fitness and development whilst being produced to competition level/ maturity.

I’d like to gain some more knowledge on taking care and producing horses for competition as well as the organisation that goes into travelling for national and/or international shows.

I consider myself quite well-rounded with the ability to turn myself to any new tasks with confidence in my abilities and previous experience.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I am looking to learn more about the tasks of a competition groom, mainly in the eventing or show jumping discipline but quite happy to learn from most.

Yes, I am looking for a live in position.
• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?
Just to have accommodation that would allow my small dog to accompany me. He is very well behaved and friendly.
