Experience with Horses
I have been around horses for the last 17 years. I have previously worked on a very busy livery yard, handling horses, turning out, mucking out, feeding, field duties (poo pick & ragwort). All general care that a horse requires. As I have my own horses I continue to attend to them every day, handling, attending for the farrier, dentist and vet. All ground work as well as ridden.
Key Skills
I work well in a team and on my own. I have previously clipped, plaited up for dressage and shows. I can ride (preferring flat work), ground work with the horses. I enjoy completing daily tasks which ensure the horse has everything they need (yard duties).
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy spending as much time as possible at the stables, ensuring all horses are cared for correctly. Making sure they’re in a good routine, and are well looked after. I have a passion for dressage, and love going competing on my own horse. (Prelim/novice level)
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
Plaiting! I can plait up, however I would like to improve my plaiting skills. (Sometimes I get golf balls)

I am a very hard worker, I thrive in a job with animals! I have good communication skills, a caring attitude. A kind, honest worker. I do my very best to get along with everyone as I enjoy working in a team as well as individually.
