I’ve been working with horses for about 7 years now, I’ve had several yard job over the years now, my last job was at shardloes farm equestrian centre where I worked on the livery yard as well as at the riding school. I’ve been riding for 7 years now and ridden a range from 13hh ponies to 18hh horses. I’ve done several disciplines but nothing serious. I would love to learn more in the disciplines and always eager to learn.

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I enjoying working in a team and am a friendly and hard working person who aims to please. I’ve done some basic clipping over the years as well as worked with a few stallions at previous yards. I enjoy all aspects of horses on the ground and ridden. I’ve ridden going horses and helped bring them into work.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I love being in the outdoors and working, you’ll never catch me off my feet when I’m working, I enjoy horses on the ground and ridden. Horses are all different and need different needs and I love being able to bond with the individual horses and meet their needs. I really enjoy riding and want to improve all the time.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
overall I would love to improve my skills in everything ranging from plaiting/ bandaging to riding. I always am willing to learn and enjoy learning new things.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
i am an extremely hard worker who gets on with everyone around them, I’m always happy to help where needed and love to be involved in all aspects of horses.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
i would like to improve my overall knowledge on horses, I want to become the best I can. I would love to be able to improve my riding skills and hopefully find a discipline that is suited to me.

I have a 2 year old golden doodle who I would love to be able to bring to work with me, he currently goes to work with me at the moment but I know it obviously depends on the yard.
