Experience with Horses
I have 10+ years of experience training and riding horses (and ponies) from youngsters to established jumpers. In my more active years, I occasionally trained under professional jumpers in Estonia. I also have some experience in saddling, and plenty of experience with horses of different temperaments.
Key Skills
I have been told I am great at handling and riding difficult horses as I tend to have a lot of patience. I am gentle and understanding. I work well both alone and in a team.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy the intelligence of horses- how they respond to us given our behaviour and riding style.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to spend more time improving my strength and endurance, especially as I have been on a break from riding.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I will always put the horse’s needs first, treating them as the individuals they are! Every horse is different and requires specialized care.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
Guidance and instructions on whatever the person sees I could improve on- I believe there is always room for improvement, especially in riding.
• Do you need accommodation?
No.
• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?
No.
• Do you have any ongoing commitments?
A full-time day job from 9am to 5:30pm.
• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?
No.
