Experience with Horses
I grew up on a family run competition yard where my Aunt breeds Eventing horses in the heartland of Shropshire.
Me and my Auntie were the only ones who would ride and train the horses and we would have up to 20 horses/ponies in full time work and at least half of them we would compete each week (Show jumping / Dressage/1day events)
I would ride up to 12 horses per day and I have backed our ponies at home since I was a child and even re trained horses with behavioural issues. However after moving out of the family home 4 years ago I have not ridden regularly other than visiting and riding my old Showjumping horses once every few months.
I have also worked on an international showjumping yard where I was an at home Groom. (This was for more than two years)
Furthermore , as well as having all of the horses at home which I would sometimes take sole charge of , I worked alongside a couple who produced all types of horses and would groom for them at shows / warm up the horses.
