Experience with Horses
I have been riding horses from a young age and have many years of experience riding, mucking out, feeding, and grooming. I used to ride competitively in show jumping, I am now very active in St Andrews Polo Club and compete with the university.
Key Skills
I am a good rider and enjoy spending all day with the horses. I enjoy keeping a tidy yard and I am not work shy. I enjoy mucking out, grooming and riding especially.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I find working with horses extremely satisfying work. I never get bored around horses. Mucking out and riding is very fun for me!
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to be better at lunging and clipping.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I am a very hard worker and see it as a personal responsibility to have a tidy yard and happy horses! I have a bubbly personality and love being at the stables.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I would like additional experience in the equestrian field and want to put my years of previous experience to good use. I am particularly interested in Polo recently so working at a Polo yard would be exciting for me but I am open to all opportunities!
