Experience with Horses
I’ve worked on an off livery yards/ freelance for 6 years. I’ve owned horses since I was 4 and have been riding since then. I currently work for national showjumpers and also just a little happy hacker yard so I am able to adapt to fit whatever needs. I have completed a level 3 extended advanced diploma in equine care and management at writtle college.
I currently also work at a riding school teaching on the weekends.
I have ridden a wide range of horses. From unbroken to advanced showjumpers. I currently have lessons with an advanced dressage rider with my clients horses to help establish their flat more.
My own horse competed up to new comers before sustaining an injury and having to be retired.
I’ve also worked for a polo yard for a season exercising the horses and working game days.
I did local showing for 6 years growing up with my pony.

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I love the variety of the job, everyday is different and I live the fact that it keeps me fit and outside.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I’d like to improve my wider knowledge of the competition world and preparing for that.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I’m a fun hard working individual who really likes to switch my hand and different things, I like to keep busy. I have ADHD and slight OCD so I’m able to work outside the box slightly different to a neurotypical person. And have a very high attention to detail.
