I am a final year Undergraduate studying BSc (Hons) Equine Behaviour and Welfare at Hartpury University, demonstrating particular interest in equestrians’ horse training approaches within the Module Undergraduate Dissertation. Experience of working for a professional horse training yard as well as supporting the hospitality and retail industry has enhanced interpersonal skills, as involvement of working with a wide range of diverse customers and colleagues has refined the ability to communicate at all levels while working in often pressurised team environments. I am looking for opportunities to enhance practical experiences and horse training abilities while prioritising the welfare and affective states of the horse, especially during training.
