Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
I have worked with a multitude of horses over a span of 30 years, from showing, stud work, hunting. I currently manage an animal sanctuary with some 300 residents from equines, cats, dogs, livestock, small pets and aviary birds.
I am first aid and mental health first aid qualified. Can manage all aspects of the Animals needs from feeds, enrichment, leasing with professionals such as vets and behaviourists.
I have excellent customer service standards and regularly host tours and talks with the public.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
My main strengths with equines is building trust and confidence in fearful animals. Ensuring they have an appropriate environment in which to thrive.
