For the past three years I have worked in an educational setting where I am required to complete general yard work including mucking out, poo-picking, bringing in/out, in addition to tacking up, clipping, trimming and pulling. Plaiting for events and teaching students. Schooling horses used within the college as well as hacking and low level jumping. Including caring my own horse who I have owned since he was 4 years old.

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I enjoy working independently and being organised at work, I have worked in a small team for the past three years caring for up to 3o horses as well as running practical sessions for students with a focus on maintaining safe working practices. I have developed a high attention to detail to ensure all horses are cared for to the highest standard. In addition to this I have been able to ensure the appropriate records have been maintained ( student assessment records, livery belongings, horse health records, including dentistry and vaccination dates).

I would like to develop my knowledge in competition horse care.
