I am a dedicated and experienced horsewoman with almost 20 years of hands-on equestrian experience, having ridden since the age of four. Throughout my life I have developed extensive knowledge of horse care, training, yard management and riding across a wide variety of equestrian disciplines and environments. Horses have always been a huge part of my life, and I take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of care, professionalism and horsemanship.

Over the years I have worked on a range of different yards, including private competition yards, livery yards, riding schools, stud yards and establishments working with stunt horses. This has allowed me to become adaptable and confident working with horses of all ages, breeds, temperaments and levels of training. I am comfortable handling everything from youngstock and freshly backed horses through to experienced competition horses, broodmares and retired horses.

I have owned my own horses for many years, giving me a thorough understanding of the commitment and responsibility involved in their daily management. My experience includes all aspects of stable management, including mucking out, feeding, turning out and bringing in, rug changes, grooming and clipping, plaiting, tack cleaning, exercising horses, administering routine care, recognising signs of illness or injury, and maintaining exceptionally high standards of yard cleanliness and organisation.

Alongside my practical yard experience, I have competed nationally in dressage and have backed and produced horses from scratch, developing young horses with patience, consistency and confidence. I enjoy building horses’ trust and education, always prioritising their welfare and individual needs throughout their training.

I am confident working independently or as part of a team and understand the importance of reliability, time management and maintaining a calm approach in busy yard environments. I am equally happy taking instruction or using my own initiative when required, and I am comfortable handling fit competition horses as well as those requiring quieter, sympathetic management.

I am currently seeking a part-time equestrian position that can be worked around my full-time employment. I am flexible, hardworking and passionate about providing the very best care for every horse I work with. Whether the role involves yard duties, riding, grooming, producing young horses or general stable management, I am committed to working to a high standard and would be a valuable addition to any yard.
