Experience with Horses
I have been riding since I was 5 years old had my own horse from the age of 15. I had my first horsey job on a professional dressage yard about 20 years ago. Learnt alot but my passion was showjumping i got offered an opportunity to work for a pro as a home groom which i did for 3 years i got to do hickstead Spain tour. Only left there as they moved to France and I didnt want to go. I then worked on a big livery yard with 50 stables worked there for couple of years but missed the competitions and being part of a team working towards a goal. So went back to professional showjumping yard with young horses i travelled alot at this job. Met a partner and left as wanted to settle down had couple of non horsey jobs didnt work out with the man. So went back to grooming at professional yard. I have hacked and lounged help back youngsters from the ground clip plait all yard duties driven quads small machiney. Have my lorry licence. Covid hit so took leap of faith and rented my own yard and ran a livery yard until I lost my own horse 2 years ago. Where I have had a break from horses. But I am now looking for my next chapter in my life.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? I am good at working alone or working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, hacking tidying weeding mucking out poo picking. Being given lists to work through. Being left in charge when people are away. Looking after other animals dogs chickens cats ducks geese. Sheep.

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses? I enjoy being outside routine and looking after the horses needs.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve? I’d like to improve my riding knowledge more.

• What would you like to do or gain in your next job? I’d like to be involved in a yard household with like minded people that want to have fun and enjoy there horses/ animals. And gain more experience in eventing.
