Experience with Horses

I have intermediate experience working with horses in Germany. While I’m not a complete beginner, I’ve had the opportunity to develop my skills in horse care, handling, and basic training. I’m comfortable with daily routines such as grooming, feeding, and exercising horses, and I’m eager to continue building my knowledge and experience in the equine field.

I excel in both independent and collaborative environments. I’m particularly skilled in handling and caring for horses, including grooming, turning out for shows and basic clipping. I have a good understanding of horse behavior, which helps me work effectively with young horses and ensure their comfort. Additionally, I have experience in non-equine skills such as basic maintenance and gardening, which I find complement my work with horses by enhancing the overall care environment

What I enjoy most about working with horses is their remarkable intelligence and unique charm. Horses are incredibly social creatures, and they have a way of bringing people together. Their presence encourages us to socialize, forge new friendships, and share memorable experiences. I find joy in building connections with both the horses and the people around them, and it’s rewarding to witness the bonds that develop in a barn or riding community

Employers should consider me because I bring a unique combination of skills and qualifications. As a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, I possess a solid understanding of animal health and welfare. While my experience with horses is good, I am dedicated and hardworking, with a strong sense of loyalty and trustworthiness. I remain calm under pressure and excel in critical situations, ensuring that I can effectively handle any challenges that arise. Ultimately, I have the knowledge and temperament needed to care for and work with these beautiful animals

• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?

In my next job, I hope to deepen my knowledge and skills in several areas. I’m particularly interested in learning about hoof trimming, horse riding, and training techniques. Additionally, as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, I would like to enhance my veterinary knowledge specifically related to equine care. I’m eager to apply my background while also gaining hands-on experience that will allow me to contribute effectively to the team and the horses.
