Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
Time and patience, attention to detail, thinking on my feet and setting standards. I am equally happy to work alone or within a team. I listen to what my clients want, and deliver to the best of my ability.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
Horses are magnificent creatures, it is a pleasure to work alongside them and I pride myself in giving my best to each and every one I come into contact with.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
Equine welfare is always my top priority.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I hope my core values shine through. I see my role as a professional groom is to support my clients and other fellow grooms, to help educate, mentor, encourage and inspire. Above all else I want to be a leading light in equine welfare and ensure the horse’s best interest in at the heart of everything I do.
