Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I most enjoy building a relationship with horses and being involved in their daily care and routine. I find it very rewarding to see the difference that consistent, high-quality care makes to a horse’s wellbeing and behaviour. I also enjoy the variety of work on a yard and being active throughout the day.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to continue developing my riding, particularly building my confidence with jumping. I am motivated to improve through regular practice and learning from more experienced riders. I am also keen to keep developing my overall knowledge and practical skills as I work towards my BHS Stages.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I am hardworking, reliable, and genuinely committed to building a career in the equine industry. I take pride in maintaining high standards of horse care and always approach my work with a positive attitude.
Alongside my Level 3 qualification and practical experience, I am eager to learn, take instruction well, and continue progressing. My long-term goal of becoming a BHS qualified coach reflects my commitment to developing within the industry and adding value to any yard I work on.
