• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?

I’d like to gain further knowledge within different fields of the industry, and also some more ground work to be able to do with my own. I’d also like to persue myself in dressage and showing as my youngster has really good movement.

i have 2 horses, however I always have someone that is able to do them.

I have had horses all my life, and used to compete regularly when I was younger. I was apart of pony club for 10 years where I attended the regional dressage championships. I used to help out on a hunt yard where I was doing all yard duties as well as turning horses out to the highest of standards where I gained  a lot of plaiting experience! I worked in a pub alongside this for 4 years where I gained valuable skills such as communication, teamwork and individual skills which has helped me gain experience speaking to new people.

 

Key Skills

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

I’m good at working alone as well as part of a team. I am able to plait to a high standard and I am confident handling different horses as I have a youngster and also a 17.2hh, I am used to handling fit hunt horses too. I am good at communicating and also have good attention to detail.

 

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I love working with horses as no two days are the same. I also get to gain valuable skills which I am able to pass on to my own horses too! Horses are also a big passion of mine and spending time with them make me so happy.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I’d like to improve riding skills however this is not a deal breaker and also improve clipping skills too!

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

I am a hard working individual and enjoy being at work. I have a good sense of humour  and can bring different perspectives to the team. I am a confident person as well as being a big people person. I am trust worthy and very reliable meaning I am able to get on with any tasks given to me.
