Future Requirements
I am 21 looking for part time work in the in South Somerset, either ridden on in the yard.
I am experienced in both ridden and yard based roles, including racing, hunt service and sole charge groom roles for private employers. I am a fun, down to earth person and enjoy working in a team with other people, however I am also confident in my knowledge and experience and able to work comfortably on my own using my initiative.
Key skills:
– handling on young, fit or excitable horses, both on the ground or ridden
– experience schooling both on the flat and over fences
– ridden experience on gallops
– basic medical care (bandaging/dressing wounds, poulticing, lameness etc.).
– clipping/plaiting/event turnout
