Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
I have owned and worked with horses since childhood and have extensive practical experience in horse care and yard management. My experience includes daily yard duties such as mucking out, feeding, turnout, bringing in, field management, exercising horses through riding, lunging and groundwork, and conducting routine health checks. I am confident handling horses with a range of temperaments, including young horses, and have assisted with veterinary, farrier and dental visits. I am also experienced in clipping and have regularly taken sole responsibility for a livery yard, including the care of the owner’s horses and liveries during periods of absence. My previous experience includes working as a groom and rider at a riding school and my current role as a stable hand at a private livery yard.
