I’ve been working at a riding school/ livery yard. At this job I have been teaching all ages and riders from beginner to intermediate. I have done a season in Namibia leading and guiding trails for tourists on a reserve where there are game animals. I have done two seasons schooling horses in Botswana for safari rides.

-riding/ schooling including some work with young horses
-general yard duties
-horse management
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I have a true passion for horses. I love that I can work and be physically active outside all day. I love that it’s not just a job it’s a lifestyle.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I am always looking to develop myself, gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of horse management and my riding. I believe with horses you never stop learning.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I’ve got passion alongside a strong work ethic and an understanding that working with horses requires you to be flexible, able to make decisions on the spot and act upon them. Alongside my equine experience I also have experience in other industries such as hospitality and tourism which has helped me develop great rapports not only with fellow employees and employers but great client relations.
