Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
Iv had horses since I was 3. Iv worked on a variety of different yards, as well as running some. I went to Talland for 8 months and did up to my stage 2 bhs. I have experienced handling all different types of horses from youngsters, heavy horses and lots more.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
Due to managing my own business and left to sort out private yards and also livery yards alone I very good with organising and keeping updated with multiple different things. Iv also worked with a variety of different people making sure everyone/ everything runs smoothly. As I offer a variety of different service in my business eg clipping, platting, going away to shows and basic services very flexible with what I do but always have more to learn
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
Being able to work and enjoy being around horses has always been something I wanted to do since I was little and constantly learning.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I believe I still have a lot to learn and want to be more involved with how the industry works
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I’m hard working with a lot of experience behind me but very willing to learn more and do as much as I can to become better at what I do. I’m happy to travel, also very open to any opportunity given to me. I always try and bring a positive attitude to whatever if thrown at me.
