Experience with Horses
I have been working on professional event yards for the past 7 years both part time whilst at University for 2 years and full time before and after that. I was a home groom for Matt Heath, Max Warburton and did 2 months work for Izzy Taylor whilst on uni holidays. I then worked full time for Melissa Joannides as a show groom/head girl for 2.5years then home and show groom for Georgia Bartlett. I am very capable of working in a team and alone, can carry out all yard duties, I take pride in my work and keeping a tidy yard and ensuring the horses are cared for to a high standard. At previous jobs I have always helped out with hacking and cantering where needed and perfectly capable of lungeing. I have previously traveled to the likes of Millstreet, Arville and Le Lion and have groomed up to 4*S level so I understand what it takes to get the horses to top level. I have also assisted with breakers during all my previous jobs.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
