What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I am looking for a position where I can continue developing my experience with Thoroughbreds, particularly in stud work, foaling, broodmare and foal care, youngstock and yearling preparation. I would also like to continue developing my experience in behavioural training, handling difficult horses and loading/travelling. I am happy working as part of a larger team or independently managing a small family/private yard, taking responsibility for the day-to-day care and organisation of the horses and property.

Experience with Horses
I have extensive hands-on experience with Thoroughbred horses, including stud management, foaling, broodmare and foal care, stallion care, youngstock and yearlings. I have managed breeding yards, assisted with covering and veterinary procedures, and have experience preparing yearlings for sales. I have also worked extensively with behavioural cases, including difficult loaders, spooky and highly reactive horses, and start/stall training

Strengths and Weaknesses
What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I particularly enjoy working with young horses and breeding stock, and I find it very rewarding to develop a horse’s confidence and improve difficult or challenging behaviours. I also enjoy the practical, hands-on nature of stud work and working as part of a team.
Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to continue developing my experience in behavioural training and rehabilitation, as well as broadening my knowledge of Thoroughbred breeding and youngstock management in the UK.
