I have owned and cared for horses throughout my life, giving me a deep, practical understanding of equine behaviour, welfare, and daily management. From a young age I was an active member of Lancaster Pony Club, where I developed strong foundations in riding, stable management, and horse care. I later progressed to competing in Juniors with BSJA, gaining valuable experience with fit, responsive ponies and the demands of competition routines.
Professionally, I have worked on both a show jumping yard and a racing yard, where I gained hands‑on experience with high‑performance horses and fast‑paced environments. I am confident handling fit competition horses, maintaining structured routines and working efficiently under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
I am experienced in all daily yard duties including mucking out, turning horses in and out, putting horses on and off the walker, pulling manes, bathing, washing off, and maintaining a clean organised yard. I am detail‑focused, reliable and committed.
