Experience with Horses
I’ve been around horses since a very young age, going through pony club, hunting with the Cotswold, successfully team chasing and eventing. It’s only in the last three years, due to a change in circumstance, that I have actively been working with horses. I have been working at a family yard with ponies and horses – eventing and hunting. Sadly the kids have lost interest and horses have recently been sold, so I’m now looking for my next role.
Key Skills
I’m happy working alone and with others. I’m hard working, tidy, conscientious, empathetic and gentle. Happy to take kids to events, help out with family life outside of the yard and all the normal riding, mucking out, plaiting, poo picking etc.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Having been brought up around horses in the more traditional sense, I’m now more tuned into the natural horsemanship philosophy.
