I have over 25 years of equine experience and have gained skills through roles in the equestrian, pet sitting, property and corporate worlds which I would like to combine in a new role as a private yard/estate manager.

• Do you need accommodation?

Yes, if the new role is located outside of Cheshire.

• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?

Enclosed garden for two well behaved Miniature Dachshunds.

• Do you have any ongoing commitments?

I would need to provide my current employer with 1 month’s notice and make arrangements to rent out my home if the role is located outside of Cheshire.

• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?

None booked at present.

Over 25 years of equine experience.

My first full time job following my A levels was a live-in groom/rider position on a yard of 20 sports horses. The owners frequently travelled to Europe to import new horses leaving me in sole charge of the yard including all day to day care, riding and vets/farriers appointments.

I owned/managed my own livery yard of 10 horses from 2014-2020. I undertook all day to day care, riding, rehabilitation, competing, advertising/social media, yard maintenance/improvement, administration and accounting.

Since moving in to the Corporate world, I have continued to undertake some freelance yard work/riding/volunteering with animals.

I worked in a freelance position as part of a team on a top showing yard.

I have previously operated a mobile Theraplate business across the North West.

I currently ride for a former livery client and volunteer on a charity/farm.

I currently work for Barclays Bank managing a portfolio of large corporate clients which has given me strong skills in communication, workload and diary management, risk and control, using initiative and collaboration.
