Future Requirements
• I would like to gain more knowledge and experience in the horse industry. I’ve worked at a riding school which I enjoyed and learned a lot. I would like to go in a different direction which is dedicated more to caring for horses and becoming a groom. I’m currently studying for my BHS stage one and hope to achieve this in the near future.
• I have my own accommodation
• I have 2 dogs and they would stay at home
• I have no commitments and I’m able to start work when needed.
• I have 2 days holiday booked for the 23rd & 24th November 2026
Experience with Horses
I have worked at my local riding school for over 3 years. I have learned how to ride up to intermediate level. I’m able to muck out, groom, feed, plait, pick feet, bath, and handle horses from the age of 3 upwards. Some of the horses I have handled have had only a minimal time with people and therefore have needed a very different approach than the other horses. I have also taught people to ride for the past 18 months is this role as well as yard work and caring for the horses.

Strengths and Weaknesses
• I love working outdoors in all weathers. I love just being around horses and caring for them. I enjoy a more physical role and being on my feet.
• I’d always want to gain more knowledge and experience within the horse industry.
I would also like to gain qualifications in this field.
• I am passionate about horses and their welfare. I’m dedicated to this line of work. I show this with my enthusiasm and my willingness to learn. I’m not afraid to ask questions and I rather ask for help than make mistake.

I’m confident around horses and although I’ve not had any experience with horses under the age of 3. I would look forward to a new challenge and embrace any new skills.
