Future Requirements

• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?

My ideal next role would be a long‑term live‑in Housekeeper position. I take real pride in keeping a home running smoothly, and I’d like to continue building on that in a stable, long‑term environment. I would also class myself as a solid all‑rounder, and I’m more than happy to take on additional responsibilities such as animal care, driving, cooking and general maintenance. I enjoy being hands‑on, adaptable, and supporting a household in whatever way is needed.

• Do you need accommodation?

Yes

• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?

none at all

• Do you have any ongoing commitments?

Not as such, I am still working for my current family, and they are happy for me to stay on until I find my next role. I am only seeking new employment because they are relocating to France.

• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?

No holidays booked.

Experience with Horses

Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.

I grew up around animals and have hands‑on experience working with fit racehorses, including Riding, daily care, handling, feeding, grooming. I’m confident, calm and capable around Horses and enjoy working in rural, outdoor environments. Alongside my equine experience, I have a strong background as a live‑in Housekeeper and Family PA. I’m a solid all‑rounder and comfortable taking on a wide range of responsibilities including:

  • Full housekeeping, laundry and home organisation
  • Driving duties (full clean UK licence)
  • Animal care, including dogs, horses and small pets
  • Cooking simple, healthy meals
  • General household maintenance and practical tasks
  • House and pet sitting
  • Supporting families with day‑to‑day organisation and errands

I enjoy roles where I can be hands‑on, adaptable and take ownership of keeping things running smoothly. I’m looking for a long‑term position where my mix of housekeeping, animal care and practical skills can be put to good use.

Key Skills

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

I am particularly strong in all areas of housekeeping and household organisation. I work very well independently and take full ownership of keeping a home running smoothly. I have high standards, excellent attention to detail, and a calm, methodical approach to daily routines.

My key strengths include:

  • Maintaining an immaculate home with consistent, high‑quality housekeeping
  • Laundry, ironing, wardrobe care and fabric management
  • Organising cupboards, storage spaces and household systems
  • Managing daily, weekly and deep‑cleaning schedules
  • Working alone and prioritising tasks without supervision
  • Cooking simple, healthy meals
  • Driving duties and running household errands
  • Pet care, including dogs and horses
  • House sitting and keeping a property secure and well‑managed

I’m a solid all‑rounder who notices what needs doing and gets on with it. I’m practical, adaptable, and very comfortable taking responsibility for the smooth running of a private household.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I’m always looking to develop my skills further. In particular, I’d like to continue improving my cooking so I can offer a wider range of meals and feel even more confident preparing food for families and guests. I’m also keen to build on my knowledge of household systems and maintenance, as I enjoy becoming more efficient and capable in all areas of running a home smoothly

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

Employers should consider me because I bring a rare combination of high standards, reliability and genuine pride in my work. I’m a strong all‑rounder who can run a household smoothly and independently, with excellent attention to detail and a calm, organised approach. I don’t just complete tasks — I take ownership of them, notice what needs doing, and keep everything moving without fuss.

I’m discreet, trustworthy and very comfortable living and working within a private family home. I have proven experience managing a property, maintaining immaculate housekeeping standards, supporting daily routines, caring for animals, cooking simple meals, driving and handling practical household tasks. Families value me because I’m steady, adaptable and able to step into whatever is needed to make their lives easier.

A key reflection of my work ethic is that my current family have offered me the opportunity to relocate to France with them. I feel this speaks volumes about the trust, relationship and confidence they have in me, and the standard of work I deliver. Although I’ve chosen to remain UK‑based, their offer shows the level of commitment and reliability I bring to a role.

I’m committed, long‑term focused, and genuinely enjoy creating a well‑run, comfortable home. I offer professionalism, discretion and a positive attitude that makes me an asset to any household.
