Equine Experience
I have approximately 16 years of experience around horses, including 6 years of professional experience working with horses as a job. Throughout this time, I have developed a strong understanding of horse care, handling and general yard management.
My practical experience includes:
- General yard duties: Mucking out stables, maintaining clean and tidy yard areas, and carrying out daily stable management tasks.
- Grooming and horse care: Grooming horses and maintaining their cleanliness and general condition.
- Feeding: Carrying out daily feeding routines and helping ensure horses receive appropriate care.
- Turnout: Preparing horses for turnout and bringing them in safely.
- Horse handling: Handling horses confidently and safely as part of daily yard routines.
- Riding: Personal riding experience, with ongoing riding lessons and ambitions to progress further in my equestrian career.
I am passionate about working with horses and keen to continue developing my practical skills and knowledge. I am hardworking, enthusiastic and committed to providing good standards of horse care. I am looking for an opportunity to build on my existing experience, contribute to a professional yard and continue growing within the equine industry.
