Experience with Horses

Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.

I am a certificated FISE instructor, I have 6 years experience on dressage and showjumping. I have the 4th level Parelli Horsemanship.

Key Skills

I am particularly good at handling and training horses, especially young horses, and understanding their behaviour. I have experience in both English riding and natural horsemanship and I am confident working on the ground as well as in the saddle. I am used to taking responsibility for the daily care and management of horses, and I can work independently while also being a reliable and cooperative team member. As a qualified riding instructor, I have developed good communication skills, patience, attention to detail and the ability to adapt to different horses and situations.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

The connection and trust you can build with them. I love understanding their behaviour, helping them develop both mentally and physically, and seeing their confidence grow through patient and consistent work. For me, working with horses is not just about riding, but also about communication, learning and respecting each horse as an individual. I particularly enjoy natural horsemanship and finding a balance between technical training, wellbeing and a positive relationship with the horse.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

My riding skills

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

Because I combine practical experience, a strong passion for horses and a genuine willingness to learn and improve. As a qualified riding instructor with experience in horse training, young horses and natural horsemanship, I bring both technical knowledge and a patient, horse-centred approach to my work. I am independent, reliable, adaptable and not afraid of hard work. I take responsibility seriously, pay attention to details and always aim to put the horses’ wellbeing first. I am also open to new methods and challenges, and I see every opportunity as a chance to grow, contribute to the team and become a better horsewoman.
