Experience with Horses

I have been riding for 13 years and have had horses since the age of 4. I have regularly completed unaffiliated in all 3 disciplines, as well as producing my own horse. I’ve ridden a range of horses varieing from 4 year olds to 4* event horses. I have also assisted with the retraining of racehorses.

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I’m a very organized and motivated person. I work well within a team but can also work well on my own. I’m punctual, trustworthy, reliable. I also have drive and passion in the equine world. I’m very good at communicating and good with new people. I can also clip, plait, turn out for shows and i’m very confident handling and riding younger horses.
Strengths and Weaknesses
- What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
Working with horses is one of the most rewarding jobs. Watching the younger horses develop over the years and move up the levels is so rewarding.
- Is there anything you’d like to improve?
There is always things t improve on. however, in particular i’d like to improve my plaiting and management skills.
- Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
Although i’m only young I’m a very organized and motivated person. I work well within a team but can also work well on my own. I’m punctual, trustworthy, reliable.
Requirements
- What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
Ideally i’d like more of a riding role however, i’m not too fussed and would just like to gain more experience within the industry.

No i don’t.

I’m currently learning to drive.
