Lots of experience working on professional yards as show-groom & Home-groom as well as grooming at high level.
 Can complete all yard duties to very high standard including clipping, high level show prep. Experience training and producing horses.

Recently worked at Showjumping/Eventing yard as manager at Doncaster (Frickely park) working with 8 Showjumpers and 2 event horses.

I have had experience working on a freelance basis, being employed as a Groom/Rider.
Duties included: Normal horse care, clipping, plait, Turn out, Hacking, hunting , jumping, lunging and schooling on daily basis all types of horses ranging from Thoroughbreds, Hunters, Ponies, Youngsters some of who are in for training, re-schooling, behaviour issues, rehabilitation, developing fitness etc. Also managing vets/farrier / keeping horses records up to date etc.

Looking to get back into horses with having a year off after having a baby. Currently working as a freelance groom around the area worked for hunting yard season just gone.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?      

I have a natural love of horses which keeps drawing me back to wanting to work with them. I enjoy working and caring for all horses and able to handle all different temperaments. I feel passionate about their welfare, as well as riding and training them. I love to see their progression as you train with them and bond together.

I am a reliable, honest hard worker, willing to take on any task that is given to me and have a “can do” attitude-aiming to complete all tasks in a timely manner. Taking pride in my work, I have high standards with everything I do. I strongly believe in being a good timekeeper. I am confident and a happy person. I am also comfortable and self-motivated working alone and strive to promote a professional image in completing the task to the best of my ability, no matter what it is. I consider myself to be a very good communicator, both in terms of my verbal communication skills and my listening skills and I am comfortable requesting direction or support in order to ensure I deliver to the best of my ability. I can communicate on all different levels and deal with high-pressure situations well. I am calm, friendly and approachable. Also a non-smoker.
