I can confidently ride out, school, jump up to 1.40m, backing and breaking youngster’s. Have experience in handling stallions. Lunging, long reining.

Key Skills

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

I can work confidently on my own, I’m happy to work as part of a team, I’ve no problem in people management such as staff handling, rota organisation, delegating jobs and tasks to other’s.

I’m also just as happy to be told what’s needing to be done working under someone else and happily undertake any tasks I’ve been given.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I really enjoy ensuring that the need’s of the horse are met to the highest of standards.

I enjoy seeing the progress of a horse’s journey from yearlings to breaking in, ridden away then produced to their specific sphere.

I’m also extremely passionate about keeping the horse as healthy as possible, well groomed, feeding requirements and all other needs are taken care of to the highest standards possible.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I think working in the Equestrian world there are alway’s thing’s that you can improve on.

It should be a constant learning curve and actively developing skills to better yourself therefore providing a higher standard of work and service’s for the yard I’m on and the horse’s under my care.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

I’m a very reliable and loyal person.

I’m punctual, personable and well presented.

I’ve a full UK driving license up to a 7.5t solid body.

I will happily undertake any task asked of me.

I’m flexible with times, day’s and shifts.

Requirements

• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?

I’d like to widen my skills through the Equestrian sphere.

I can work as part of a working couple with my husband, or I can work and live in singularly.

• Do you need accommodation?

Accommodation would be preferable but it’s not a necessity for the right job.

• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?

I’ve a well behaved dog, My own horse sadly was PTS end of 2018.

• Do you have any ongoing commitments?

Nothing that is full time or contracted.

• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?

No
