Experience with Horses

Worked and trained for 4 years on a large livery and bhs approved training yard, gaining my level 2&3 NVQ in horse care and management. Have ridden and prepared for at home dressage and show jumping competitions. Have basic skills in clipping.

Key Skills

My key skills include general yard care such as, mucking out, feeding and turning out. Confident and capable of working alone or with others. Able to do most jobs asked of me to a high standard and am willing and quick when learning new skills.

I am a hardworking individual with a good work ethic, I have good time management skills and am a bubbly, forward going person who’s able to use their own initiative.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• I enjoy working with horse’s as I love them as animals and find it rewarding and fulfilling working with them.

• I would like to improve my riding, and turning out skills including clipping, plaiting and bandaging, as I can do all of these to a basic level.

• I am hardworking, enjoy my job, willing and quick to learn new skills and will also try my best and be cheerful when working. I am also willing to work all year round holidays (Christmas). I am able to take instruction and use my own initiative to get the job done.
