Experience with Horse:
Torch farm and equine vets: 25th march 2024 – november2024
I work here 3 days a week and every 3rd Saturday on maternity cover. I working alongside the vet tech/nurses and the vets making sure that they have the correct information to make there day go a smooth as possible. I answer phone calls, take payments, and book clients in for appointments that they need. Deal with customers on the phone and in person. Dispensing meds to farm and equine clients. And all other admin work that is needed with in the industry.
Exmoor Luxury Loos 25november 2022-17th January 2024
I worked here Monday to Saturday, caring for their 10 horses, this includes all yard duties and exercising and riding second horse for them two days of the week on Exmoor. I also worked at the shows and festivals with them in the summer months dealing with trailer units, paperwork, and members of the public.
Downe farm Equestrian: 10th November 2019- 02nd march 2020
I worked here on a Sunday and some week days. I did all the general yard duties, exercise (hacking out, schooling, lunge). Riding fits eventers, youngsters. Fill haynets, prepare horses for competitions.
Volunteer:
East Catskill Farm: 09th June 2020 – 04th Oct 2020
I volunteered here a couple of days a week, helping milk, cleaning in the parlour i.e.: washing down and clean up, calf rearing. I also helped with other aspect around the farm from feeding to preparing the cows to be milked.
Summer work

I worked here on different days in the summer. I did all aspects of stable work; this included getting the horses ready for a hunting day, exercising them on non-hunting days, clip and trim the horses to the standard and plait the horses on the hunting days

I worked here on a Saturday and some days in the week. Caring for the horses, grooming, plaiting, pulling manes. I also escorted adults and children out on hacks and lessons. All yard duties
Park View Equestrian Centre 5 May 2018 – 30TH March 2019
Working on a Saturday and a Sunday. Caring for horses, washing, brushing, feed, water, and muck out. Prepare stables with bedding and haynets. Exercise horses (lunge and riding), put on/off horse walker, bring horses in and out from fields. Cleaning duties from fields to stables to school, including raking the school edges, cleaning tack.
Light Cavalry Flemish Farm January 2017 – May 2018
Initially volunteering on a Sunday, was offered the opportunity to work for them on a Saturday. Working alongside a full-time groom I carried out stable management duties, taking calls in the office as well as looking after the horses and their environment and helping to exercise them. Working with clients, ensuring they were aware of safety rules and regulations for Windsor Great Park. Providing information on the horses they were riding, demonstrating techniques.

clipping, trimming, and pulling / tiding mane and tails. I am confident at plaiting. I am a competent rider and happy to handle stallions, foals, and youngsters. I have had experienced in exercising horses in hand, from lunging to Pessoa training and putting and tacking them off the horse walker.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy working with horses and animals , as each day is never the same and is never a dull moment. I feel you are always learning new things every day within the industry whether that is ridden, in hand or about yourself, there is always things to do.I also find that it keeps you thinking ahead. I also enjoy working outside in all weathers, and being hands on within a role.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to improve my clipping skills to a high standard. I would also like to improve my jumping as this is something that I have not really focused on .
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I believe the employer should consider me for the roles as I have several years experience with in the industry, I am competent with horse on ground and ridden. I have a good level of knowledge and skills that I have gained throughout the years.I am hard working and always put my best in. I am a good time keeper. I will always tell the truth and will be honest. I have a welcoming attitude and will always make clients and people welcome.

In my next Job I would like to further equine knowledge and skills.i would also like to improve my jumping.
