Experience with Horse:
All aspects of yard work i.e. mucking out, hay nets, waters, feeding, tack cleaning etc. Exercising horses in hand or ridden i.e. (lunge and horse walker, lose schooling, hacking and schooling).Bathing, clipping, plaiting, pulling mane/tails,grooming.I have had several years’ experience with all different horses and ponies from youngsters, stallions, foals, eventers, fit hunters, riding school, this is working with them in hand and ridden. i am have experience with working on my on and within a team, happy to lead a team if needed. when working i have a high standard when doing all aspects on the yard and riding. If i am not sure then i will always ask for support. Over the years I have worked on several different yards: for example eventing, hunting, Light Calvery, riding school, working with a range of horses in hand and ridden, gaining all different skills. bring on youngsters. Turning horses out for shows competitions, hunting, Prades, (dressage, show jumping, lord mayors show, eventing). I have also had the experience with admin side of the yard i.e. phone calls, paperwork, dealing with customers and clients. I have worked on yard in a team and sole charge. I am a competent rider and will get on anything, and work with it.I am a competent, experienced rider, at flat work and jumping (however this is something that i would like to improve to a higher standard).I have experience with fit hunters,Ex racers, eventers, international carriage horses, youngsters, stallions, broadmares,foals. I am happy to ride anything from a problem horse to a green horse, to youngsters, to experienced 5 star eventer or show horses. I have had experience in helping backing and bring on youngsters in hand and ridden. I have competed in some in-house dressage and show jumping competition at the Light Cavalry Flemish Farm and have come out with some good results.I have also competed in endurance riding for 2 seasons and have come away with some really good results and qualified for the championships. I have worked on competitions yards for about 2 years. i am also in the process of doing my class 1 licence.

clipping, trimming, and pulling / tiding mane and tails. I am confident at plaiting. I am a competent rider and happy to handle stallions, foals, and youngsters. I have had experienced in exercising horses in hand, from lunging to Pessoa training and putting and tacking them off the horse walker.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy working with horses and animals , as each day is never the same and is never a dull moment. I feel you are always learning new things every day within the industry whether that is ridden, in hand or about yourself or the animals you are working with. There is always things to do.I also find that it keeps you thinking ahead. I also enjoy working outside in all weathers, and being in a hands on within a role.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to improve my clipping skills to a higher standard. I would also like to improve my jumping as this is something that I have not really focused on .
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I believe the employer should consider me for the roles as I have several years experience with in the industry, I am competent with horse on ground and ridden. I have a good level of knowledge and skills that I have gained throughout the years.I am hard working and always put my best in. I am a good time keeper. I will always tell the truth and will be honest. I have a welcoming attitude and will always make clients and people welcome.

In my next Job I would like to further equine knowledge and skills.i would also like to improve my jumping.

I do have 2 well behaved dogs and a horse.
