Experience with Horses
I’ve been riding since I was 6 years old. I stated with showjumping and dressage, where I did a lot of competing in both. I switched to racehorses almost 2 years ago now. Last raceseason I raced my first season as an amateur rider and I had one win and a 3 and 2 5th placed. Out of my 6 raceson total. I’m currently riding between 1-3 horses daily after work. Earlier in life I’ve broken a few horses in so I have some experience with that as well.
For 5 years I did some stablework in the weekends where I did feed 30 horses 3 times a day, letting them out in the field and back in, mucking with 10-13 School horses so I do have some experience with doing stable work too.
Key Skills
I’m very good at organizing and making structure in my every day Life. I would describe myself as a patient person and calm in stressful situations.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I love the variations between horses personality and the way they each have their own needs both in the stable but also in training
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I wouldn’t say that I’m bad or anything but I always want to improve my skills and specially my riding.
I would love to get more knowledge about feeling and generally health of the horses
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
Because horses are my passion and it always have been. My dream job is in a team that surrounds horses and where all the people are working like a family towards the same goal.
I’m also that kind of person that never gives up, if something isn’t working I always try to find another way to reach my goal and it’s as important to me that the people around me are reaching there goals as well as I reach mine. I believe that you are so much stronger in a good team than on your on an each individual has something to bring to a team.
